Bio

SIALIA is a four-people alternative pop band from Münster, Germany. The quartet around Nicole Baans, Julius Hanekamp, Jonas Waldt and Marvin Geers makes pop sounds in a dark style with rock roots and indie artfulness. Inspired by Lana del Rey, Billie Eilish, London Grammar, Nothing But Thieves, Aurora and Florence + the Machine the band creates a moving sound between melancholy and euphoria.

„I want to fascinate, surprise and disturb with our music! The songs are telling fantastic or mysterious stories of personal dramas, internal struggles or dreams with an uncertain outcome, deal with the interplay of death, pain, hope, love and everything else you usually like to avoid.“

Formed in late 2014 under a different band name, the band played more than 75 shows in Germany, France and the Netherlands. Since summer 2021 as „SIALIA“ the band goes public with a lot of energy and new music and looks forward confidently to upcoming releases and concerts. SIALIA celebrated their live debut in July 2021 as support for FIL BO RIVA.
